abstracted worlds of colour, memory & oddity
BRZA DOLL // CONTEMPORARY ARTIST
I’m BRZA DOLL🖤 a contemporary artist based in Western Sydney.
My practice explores abstraction as a perceptual space, using colour, form, and spatial tension to shape how something is felt, rather than simply seen.
Working across painting, collage, and mixed media, I develop bodies of work through layering, interruption, and material experimentation;
often beginning with familiar cues
before allowing them to shift into more uncertain, atmospheric states.
Balancing precision with play, I’m drawn to everyday oddities,
quiet disruptions, and moments of organised strangeness.
Each work invites a pause, and a chance to sit with ambiguity,
to notice what emerges, and follow curiosity a little further.
beasties: exploring un-recognition (2026):
an ongoing inquiry into containment
how form holds, mutates, resists and relates.
these works move between abstraction and entity,
driven by a taxonomic impulse that never fully resolves.
